Kristie Smee

Kristie has 18 years of teaching experience up her sleeve and has been a performing arts enthusiast from the early age of 5. Kristie has owned and operated her own studio for the past 16 years and loves nothing more than sharing her knowledge and passion with her Dancinality students. Kristie is a fully qualified and registered teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance and currently acts as a mentor, tutor and practical teaching supervisor to the trainee teachers on the RAD’s Classical Ballet Teachers course. 2015 saw Kristie complete her training as a Royal Academy of Dance Examiner. She is one of only two hundred examiners world wide and is excited to further share her passion for ballet and dance as she travels internationally for work. Kristie is also a qualified member of Ballet Australasia Limited and the National Dancing Association. Kristie holds her Certificate 3 in Teaching and her Certificate IV in Dance Teaching & Management – both nationally accredited qualifications. She also has countless experience in Drama, Singing and Musical Theatre and enjoys writing and directing her own theatre productions and end of year pantomimes. As Kristie is an advocate for learning and education she is currently studying a BA of Arts majoring in psychology through the University of Newcastle. Kristie danced professionally as a caberet performer & childrens pantomime actor in her younger years but now carefully balances her time between running the Dancinality Studio, Studying and raising her three beautiful children; Mikaylee, Beau & Skylah.
